   Joann is the founder and a charter member of the St. Lawrence Co. Bed and Breakfast Association. An outdoor enthusiast loving nature as much as life itself, Joann through the use of many of windows brings the feeling of the outdoors inside.

  Joann and Jim are both native New York staters. Joann's ancestors came from London, England and settled in Boston, Mass. starting a shoe business there, Winch Brothers Shoes. Some settled in the Adirondacks having ponds and mountains named for them. Joann is a native of the Hudson River Valley where her mother's family owned and operated one of the many fruit orchards there.
